For Theo

I have this friend who orders these monogrammed letters and names as baby shower gifts for her lucky friends. I must say the whole concept behind it was her idea, I mostly just execute it with different fabrics and colors.

This was for a baby boy named Theo. I chose this fabric because of the beautiful pattern and colors. I also decided to use silver letters for the name and incorporate a little bow-tie on the big letter “T”.

The mum really loved it, so thanks Saiton (the aforementioned friend) for your creative mind and for pushing my limits!

Oh Baby!

Baby showers have evolved! Nowadays, you have to welcome the new baby in style! Some more progressive baby showers even have the dad and his friends in attendance, and I’m all about that!

I decorated this baby shower in bright colours and not the usual blue and pink since the mum-to-be didn’t know the sex of the baby.

We had a photo booth for some fun photos with some photo props as well.

And finally, some fun activities for the guests and keepsakes for the mum-to-be to remember her special day always!

You can make your baby shower memorable and unique by using free printables from the internet, and making use of a little bit of creativity. Try it the next time you need to plan a baby shower.

A purple wedding

Weddings are a wonderful opportunity for a couple (mostly the bride) to showcase their personality through their choice of decor, cake, food and everything else that constitutes a wedding.

I met this lovely couple through a friend. Having worked on their wedding invitations, they requested that I design their wedding programmes too.

I brought in a touch of purple to the gift table complete with a gift box, a guest book and all the accessories required at the gift table (envelopes, pens and stickers).

Last but not least, some fun pictures for the wedding guests! This was achieved by creating a customised photo frame to act as a photo prop at the photo booth area. Other smaller props were included too, and I hung a fun sign to point the guests in the right direction.

I hope you’re inspired!
