I miss the days when writing letters and receiving invitations in the mail was something to look forward to. You could tell who had written you a letter just by looking at the handwriting on the envelope. You could imagine them sitting down at a desk with a pen, choosing the perfect sheet of paper, looking off into the distance as they thought of the first line to write right after “Dear (insert name)”.
Those days are gone, and now we use online methods of communication. Invitations are sent online, but that doesn’t mean that it has to lose that personal touch. You can have personalised, fun and intimate invitations that make the recipients feel extra special, just like they received a handwritten note with a classy embossed envelope in the mail.
The key is in being unique, expressing your personality through the design of the card and thinking of your audience while at it.
Happy New Year folks!
